Just a reminder to everyone to be constantly vigilant of fake SMS which are trying to obtain your personal information. We cannot emphasis enough the importance of being both aware and sceptical of SMS you receive from unknown or blocked numbers.
A recent example is an SMS stating that your account has been suspended and you need to re-verify your data. This prompts you to click a link to add your account detail.
The SMS may look like the below:
Ways to reduce the risks of being infected:
- Do not click on any links or attachments in this SMS.
- Delete all odd or suspicious SMS right away.
